About

Lane Salgado, MS, MEd, CCC-SLP

After earning a Bachelor's degree in Linguistics from UCSD and a Master of Education degree from UT Austin, I studied Communication Disorders at UT Dallas.  As a graduate student, I worked in a preschool for preverbal children, an elementary school, a private clinic, and an adult rehabilitation setting.  After graduation, I began working at a private pediatric clinic.

I have treated children with articulation and phonological process disorders, receptive and expressive language impairments, dysarthria, childhood apraxia of speech, autism spectrum disorders, and other speech, language, and social-pragmatic disorders.  I enjoy helping parents learn to set goals, monitor progress, and promote positive communicative interactions at home and in their communities.

I met my wonderful husband in a linguistics class at UCSD, and we have been married since 2005.  I have three kids and two cats who keep me busy!
